Swedish Massage: A series of strokes (Effleurage, Petrissage, Tapotement, Vibration, Friction) that improve venous blood flow. Swedish Massage relaxes muscles, increases circulation, and removes metabolic waste. The person is left with a feeling of connective ness and aware of their body and the way they use it.

Deep Tissue: This modality is used to break up adhesions
and congestion in tissue fibers; and helps to eliminate pain and discomfort.

Relaxation: Light, gentle, and even strokes are applied to induce the sense of peace, serenity, and well-being to an individual.

Cranio Sacral: Addresses
tension in the cerebrospinal fluid within the head and spinal column,
as well as the head and face. This somatic/energy work can be deeply
relaxing and can relieve headaches, spinal nerve problems, TMJ, and
stress in the nervous system. Through the release of emotional
tension, other body functions can benefit as well.

Foot Reflexology
In
general terms the
benefits of reflexology have to do with the reduction of stress. Our
feet are the map of what's going on in our bodies.
Because the feet and hands help set the tension level for the rest of
the body they are an easy way to interrupt the stress signal and

individual. Hot oil is applied to the body to allow Basalt River
Stones to glide easily over the body. Stones are heated to a
comfortable temperature and then rhythmically guided on the back, legs,
and arms. The warm stones are also placed on the body and Chakra Points to ease muscle tension and aid in venous blood flow. ©
